Online Games Vs Gaming Consoles

Which one is better? There is quite a bit of competition between online games and gaming consoles that you play on your television set. It’s hard to say which one is better because it really all depends on the personal preference of the player. Still, it would be safe to say that online games are extremely popular toady.

Both ways to play games has something special to offer the gamer so let’s take a look at the advantages and disadvantages each of them have to offer.

Gaming Consoles:

  • The cost of some of the more modern gaming consoles are reasonably priced considering all the great features they have to offer.
  • The HD TV can greatly enhance the graphics on some of the games.
  • Once you pay for the console and the games you want to play, there is no ongoing fee each month that you have to pay.
  • They’re fast and easy to set up.
  • They can be played by gamers of all ages.
  • There are many excellent and exciting games available for these systems.
  • You can gather together with friends or family and have a game night to socialize.

The biggest downfall of the gaming consoles is the fact that updating the system is not normally an option. This means when a new system comes out with better graphics and features, you have to buy new games as well. Although, manufactures are working on this problem and the Xbox 360 is the perfect example. It was designed with backwards compatibility making it possible to continue playing many of the Xbox games with the new console. สล็อต pg

Online Games:

  • The game options available online can’t be beat. There are literally thousands of games that you can choose from.
  • There are many free games that you can play online.
  • Many games can be downloaded to your PC for convenience.
  • Massively multiplayer online role-playing games are available which makes it possible for large groups of gamers to interact together in a virtual world. These games are fun, exciting and challenging.
  • When problems occur with online games the developers of those games can install a patch to correct the problem. Upgrades can also be made this way.
  • Some games allow you to customize your avatar to make it more personal.
  • You can interact with gamers from all over the world. You can always find someone to play with or compete against anytime day or night.
  • It’s a great way to make new friends with a common interest.
  • Online gaming offers both high quality sound and excellent graphics.

Of course, before you can play online games you do need to invest in a good computer system. Depending on the games you choose to play you will most likely need a high speed Internet connection as well. Some games require a monthly fee to participate. Another concern with online gaming is that it’s possible to become a little obsessed with the games and some people become anti-social because they spend all of their time playing these games.

Have Fun With Flash Arcade Games Online

Have you ever wondered why most of your favorite games on Facebook require you to download the latest flash plug-in before you can play them? Well this is because games on Facebook are the perfect examples of flash arcade games. There are many types of arcade games that you can play online to include funny flash games. Both kids and adults enjoy playing funny games rather than sports or strategy games. สมัครสล็อต

Adobe Flash

Flash games are games developed using the Adobe Macromedia Flash Platform. Adobe flash is a multimedia platform for adding fluid animation and interactivity to web pages. Flash can manipulate vector and raster graphics and support bidirectional video and audio streams. It requires a dedicated flash plug-in installed on the internet browser or a standalone flash player to play these flash arcade games.

Games you can play

Depending on the types of arcade games, system requirements vary. However, the basic requirement for all flash games is to install the latest Adobe Flash plug-in for your internet browser. You can find and download the flash installer on Adobe website.

A decent computer system with at least a 1.2 GHz of processing power, 512 mb of RAM, a stable operating system and an internet connection will be able to play most simple arcade games online. However, some flash arcade games are power hungry since there are so many graphics and audio files needed to load simultaneously. The recommended system requirements to play these power hungry games is a PC with at least 2 GHz of processor, 1gb of RAM, Windows Operating System, a decent video card, and a fast DSL internet connection. Any computer system with specification lower than this will surely show a drop in performance and cause slowdowns and lags, which are very annoying when gaming.

Facebook Flash Arcade Games

The online social site Facebook became popular because of its online gaming features. Most Facebook games are flash games and played through your internet browser.

The game Farmville developed by Zynga is one of the most played games on Facebook. It runs using adobe flash and is very popular among Facebook users. It is a farming game, which features multiplayer cooperation and collectible items, which decorates your farm.

Another popular flash game is the Pet Society from Playfish, which features colorful, cute virtual pets that you can dress and play with. It also features collectible items sold on the in-game item shops and used to decorate your pet’s house. It involves player interaction and you can visit your friend’s pet house to play with.

Battle Punks Game Review

Battle Punks is a true 3D game that is developed by Gravity Bear, a name not very familiar by many.

This is yet another mindless battle game that you will find in Facebook. There is no storyline whatsoever in this game. All you have to do is get from one map to another and beat every opponent you encounter.

You start the game off as a Battle Punks and for the first time you enter the game, you will notice the character creation screen in front of you. This is where you will choose to be either male or female battle punk. You will then get a choice to choose how you would like him or her to look during the game. The character customization is not permanent and can be change later on during the game.

After the character selection screen, player will be introduced to the game control. The tutorial will guide players through the interface one step at the time. After you get familiarize with the control you will then be able to know how the fighting is like in this game. (Not much need to learn since the game will automatically take control over your punk during combat)

The fight is all automated by the game AI and all player have to do is sit back and watch! Oh yeah, do not forget to cheer for your punk! The battle system is very interesting really, although players cannot control their character. The system seems to be rather smart to choose the most powerful weapon you have. From there, it will depend on the items you bring into the battle (however at times, your punk may actually choose the wrong weapon during the start). You can have special power up for shields, weapons and potions. During the battle, player will notice that their punks will sometimes lose their weapons and draw out the next best weapon to fight. Unless your punk is totally out of weapon to choose from the game will go into a fist fight (literately). สล็อตโจ๊กเกอร์

The game does have some problem; the fight is all depends on luck and choosing the correct opponent. At times your Punk will just waste health potions without thinking. I do mean without thinking! You may notice that at times, even 1 hit from your punk, he or she pop out a fresh bottle of health potion to drink, wasting a valuable potion! Additional to that, after advancing to the next map, battle does get a lot harder. You will notice that your opponent will keep knocking off all your weapons even when they are using normal weapon to fight you. This get really annoying that even a low level player can beat your high level character with better weapons and stats.

Now after the battle is over, if you win, you reward will be shown on the screen along with additional loot. If you lose, you will still get your reward, just a little less. Weird as this game is a bit merciful to players.

Game matches is arranged in a set of 3, meaning that in each battle you can choose whichever 3 opponent is available for you to fight. If you think that anyone of the 3 opponent is too strong then you can reset the opponents, but if you reset too many times it will cost you five gold per time. Battle is also limited to 3 per-time as you only have 10 energy and each battle cost 3 energy to fight (Can be upgraded, so nothing to worry about). Aside from that, the energy recharge is very slow in this game, roughly about 5 minutes per-cycle.

Now we look into the other aspect of the game. Players can choose to shop for items like weapon, cloths and accessories. This is the dress me up part of the game. Little need to be explore here aside from the weapons shop. Always go for the most powerful weapon! It does make a difference.

If you have enough extra cash in your hand, then you can decide to re-design your character’s look. Kind of strange for the designers as you can and I really do mean you can dress until your undergarments in this game. For now I do not really see anything useful in the cloths that are provided except it makes your character stand out. There is no extra protection points provided at any of the cloths you wear. So I guess you can always decide to jump in bare naked to anyone. (You will really stand out among the crowd if you are this crazy)

Other additional features include battle playbacks. If you wish to admire and gloat over your previous battle, all you have to do is to head to profile and replay any battle that you have play through. This is an interesting feature, but not new as it was implemented in Little Warrior as well.

One thing I notice when first starting this game is my Java plug-in actually launched. This is not a flash game, but instead using Java technologies which may explain why the game is in Full 3D. If you look at this game the whole game is using Cell-Shading technology and it looks like an actual normal PC games. This game is really breath taking and no Flash game can ever come close to its beauty. I wish all Facebook games is this beautify. The game actually runs at a very high frame rate and no lagging at all, unless your system is slow. Furthermore Java also allows a few technologies to be implemented like lighting and shadowing.

Very high quality sound, especially if you put on your headphones, you can really hear the difference. This game comes with a smooth lute melody and the battle sound effect is top notch. As you progress through the game, the music does change. This is a very good move the developers took as this would not really be a bore any players with the same melody over and over again.

How to Avoid Getting Caught by Bosses and Teachers When Playing Flash Games

Flash online games have grown to be an important section of the online world. Whenever you are bored, it is almost a tradition to find a flash game for the quick “anti-boring” solution. Online flash games aren’t usually appreciated so much though, by the bosses or school teachers.

Once in a while, it is entirely important to loosen up a little with an entertaining 3D online game. However, bosses as well as school teachers, generally visualize this as being a total waste of time. There can be methods to save your online flash games when playing them if you get bored during work or school time. สล็อตโจ๊กเกอร์

When the games are being blocked from watching or playing, you will have to come across some ingenious solutions to enjoy these free games away from the sight of those that consider them reckless. Ordinarily, you can do this simply by “covering up” the task bar, by pressing Alt + Tab, whenever a boss or a teacher is close by. Doing this, you will modify the existing window, thus make sure to have one more window open for changing into. Clearly, this specific window should not include also any 3D online games. You’d better keep it to some webpage which appears informative, so that nobody discovers you were having fun with online free games!

When the online flash games are blocked a little bit more effort is necessary. This could be solved by surfing around websites which provide free games. When all of the online game websites are being blocked, you will need to be resourceful and use a proxy. Several proxy web browsers permit you to engage in online games, since the actual proxy web address will not be blocked.

Usually, the very best online games can be recognized easily by the genre. Free flash games include quite a few diverse genres- however as you will discover, the most famous are the ones which will include a “protect this” purpose.

These types of defense online games are incredibly popular, since they’re effortless to play, also since any one can enjoy them and rapidly come back to work.

Multi player web based flash games are also very popular. A lot of them include some form of artificial intelligence, so when you have no buddies out there to play with, it is possible to still enjoy it. Among the best 3D games it is the multi player ones (various kinds of sports games, to puzzle as well as action internet flash games).

Top 5 First Person Shooter World War 2 Games

5. Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PC – 2001)

The much anticipated sequel of the father of all first person shooters, Wolfenstein 3D, is hard to exclude from a top five list. The game is essentially a reboot of Wolfenstein 3D from the early 1990s, but offers a very modern take on the classic that still keeps up quite well with what more modern offerings have to provide. In it, players assume the role of Blazkowicz who must escape from a Nazi stronghold and investigate the secret paranormal division that’s around him. It is a linear FPS experience that doesn’t deviate from what players might already know from the original video game.

The visuals received a complete overhaul to keep up with more modern times. When played at maximum settings, which isn’t beyond the means of many computers used today, the levels become very vivid in their presentation. Although I was left with the impression that it wasn’t very “prison-like”. Instead, the levels seem rather medieval and take on a more literal meaning of “castle” in many respects. However, this does little to detract from the overall experience of the game and it keeps to its predecessor quite well.

Overall, it’s hard to find fault with the game’s single player mode, but the game truly shines on its multiplayer mode: experiences that were sorely missed in the early 1990s unless players had the technical knowledge to create IPX networks. Despite being over 10 years old, Return to Castle Wolfenstein still has a vibrant online community of dedicated players who are unlikely to disappear anytime soon!

4. Battlefield 1942 (PC – 2002)

It’s hard to think about WW2 PC games and not have Battlefield 1942 come to mind. While comparably dated like Return to Castle Wolfestein, it’s a game that’s hard to beat in the multiplayer realm due to the voluminous capacity of players who are able to take part in any one match. Up to 64 players are able to play in an individual campaign, which are set in the Pacific Theater and Stalingrad. It’s also set apart by its well-developed vehicle system. Increasingly modern games attempt to incorporate vehicles into the gameplay experience, but Battlefield 1942 still stands out as players have access to over 32 vehicles that are on land, sea, and in the air.

Given the age of the game, most modern computers released within the past few years would be able to handle Battlefield 1942 flawlessly. However, the visuals do indeed show their age nowadays. They still stand out as remarkable for the time of the game, but are losing their appeal as time goes on. Yes, it’s understandable than an 11 year old game would do this, but visuals certainly aren’t what keep players involved in the game. I’d argue it’s the sheer capacity of players per match that make it one of the most unique WW2 games on the PC today.

If players are into full-scale combat, then this is a game that’s hard to beat. It’s by no means the best WW2 game available for the PC today, but has stood the test of time and is still widely enjoyed by players; much like Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

IGN Score: 9.3
Personal Score: 8.5
Age Advisory: Teen (13+)

3. Call of Duty (PC – 2003)

What WW2 PC games list would be complete without mentioning the start of what later became one of the most successful war-based franchises in gaming history? Like Battlefield 1942, Call of Duty is hectic in its experience and provides an unmatched intensity that’s unrivalled in today’s gaming scene. However, it also incorporates a great deal of historical accuracy: something that many of the best WW2 games choose to neglect, especially within the FPS genre. In it, players take control of numerous American and British soldiers who work their way through various campaigns during the Second World War. This was all done with sensitivity to the time period, so players won’t find themselves making use of ray guns or other futuristic weaponry in this game. Pg slot ทางเข้า

When this game was released ten years ago, its visuals were unlike anything on the market at that point and rivalled some of the most hardware intensive games on the most powerful console at the time, which was the Nintendo 64. However, that’s not to say the game was without fault. My test rig did come across some aliased features, but it’s difficult to pin down the source. It could very well be a driver incompatibility given the age of the game against my more modern hardware.

It’s still hard to go wrong with the original Call of Duty. Much of the community have moved onto more recent COD games, like Modern Warfare and Black Ops, but there’s still a very active community who play the original game. Should it ever disappear, then the single player mode is certainly worth the experience!

IGN Score: 9.3

2. Battlefield Heroes (PC – 2009)

For some reason, this game is often confused with Battlefield 1942. Perhaps the name “Battlefield” confuses some players into believing they’re the same game, but they are most certainly not! Battlefield Heroes is best described as what would happen if Team Fortress 2 was involved in the Second World War. In it, players side with either the Nationals (Axis) or Royals (Allies) and attempt to obliterate one another in a comical firefight that’s very cartoon-like in its presentation. I think the more lighthearted nature of the game is what keeps so many players involved in the community, but there are also traces of historical accuracy to keep purists amused.

It’s hard to find fault with the visuals. Yes, they’re very laid back when compared to something like Call of Duty, but I believe this was the developer’s intention with the game. There’s certainly a comedic vibe to the entire experience that kept me engaged throughout the time I played the game.

Perhaps the only fault I can find with it is each gameplay session, regardless of the chosen map or opponents, caused me to be disconnected from the Internet. I’m not entirely sure what was happening, but it has affected two different routers connecting to two different ISPs. If this issue didn’t exist, then I’d have no problem putting it in the first place position, but it is a major bug with the game that holds back an otherwise top-tier contender.

1. Call of Duty: World at War (PC – 2008)

Yes, Call of Duty is making another appearance in the best of list with this title, which is the most recent Call of Duty game for the PC. After a slew of releases focused on more modern military conflicts, Activision reverted back to its roots with World at War and put players in the Pacific Theater and Eastern Front operations within the Second World War. The experience holds true to its predecessors in that it’s very chaotic throughout the single player mode and features an impressive multiplayer experience to boot.

Visually, World at War is nothing short of a masterpiece. The stunningly detailed in-game graphics are complimented by exceedingly spectacular cinematic cutscenes that accent the player’s progress throughout the game. Movement is fluid, responsive, and I dare say lifelike in many instances. Of course, this can be speculative as my test rig was able to play this game at very high settings. The experience may differ at lower settings, which may be required of some older systems not purpose-built for gaming.

Mad Games Tycoon Review

After spending my whole Sunday on this game, I want to share my Mad Games Tycoon experience with you. Here, you can find both gameplay information and tips of Mad Games Tycoon.

In a few short sentences, you start your game producer career in an old garage. You hire people to help you on your adventure. On my first try I went bankrupt and on my second try I became a millionaire so the game is easy to learn. You just need to check and use every feature you see.

The core gameplay is fun and satisfying, but in my opinion, some changes and additions should be applied to make the game more realistic and even more fun. I don’t want to be misunderstood, I don’t think a game should be %100 realistic. But as this game is about running a company, I look for a bit more reality. I really want to feel that ambiance! “Graphics” is not really important for me in such a game, “gameplay” is the most important. I would play even text-based if I liked “game depth” and “functions”. A game like this should target “core-gamers”, not “casual-gamers”. You will soon understand why I put these words in quotes.

Well, let’s take a quick look at Mad Games Tycoon’s features.

I skip character and company creation part. As soon as you start the game you need to create your development room and start the action. I am not going to talk about decoration of your office because, unfortunately, this feature is just basic, you just put what your employees need and that is all. You can’t decorate how you like, there are not so many choices, you can’t even turn the objects. สล็อต xo

Don’t miss contract businesses. At my first steps I tried to get every contract business I found, these contract businesses help a lot when you have just begun.

Hiring employees is a must. You need employees to complete tasks faster, you need employees to be able to do more tasks, you need employees for different departments but be careful about their salaries and balancing your income and expenses. If you are in debt at the end of the year, you go bankrupt. Game over!

Can you tell what is the most fun thing to do in a game producer tycoon game? Producing games! Naturally the most potential and usual thing to do in a game focused on producing games! But what are the details? What makes Mad Games Tycoon special?

Well, you choose a name, genre (you unlock sub-genre feature when you progress a bit or you need to start with a specific country to be able to use this feature from the beginning), topic, and engine for your game. At first you can produce just retail games, but after you make some progress you are able to produce MMO games as well. You can also buy a movie license for your game to make it more appealing. After you are finished making your game you pick a publisher company. These are all known companies whose names are different with a letter or so! You can publish your own game, but not in the early stage of your career.

While picking features of your game there is something you need to be careful about. You need to focus on trend genre & topic combination. This is shown at the right upper corner of the screen. The game provides you with different combinations of genres and topics with different periods of time. Some combinations last longer than the others; as far as I have seen this is completely random. If you produce a trendy game combination at the right time, you are awarded nicely by your fans.

Focusing on trend genre & topic combination is important, of course, but this is not the only important feature in Mad Games Tycoon. You also need to buy movie licenses to sell more! A “Jack Bond 007: A Bad View” license for your espionage game, for instance. Or you can buy “Majority Report” for your sci-fi game! Maybe you should try the movie “Warluck” for your “Orcs” or “Dungeons” themed game?

Training your employees is vital, they gain experience points completing tasks, but training is the real deal if you really want your employees to be more effective at given tasks. Do I need to tell they demand more salary when they are trained? Of course, they do just like in the real world so be careful about your investment in your employees. For example, don’t give them graphics or sound effects course, if you plan to keep them in customer service department that you need to keep your fans happy.

In fact, this is something critical developers should really take a look at, people can’t be perfectly effective at all skill branches given in this game. Certain skill trains should be blocked for certain employees, this way players will find a way to learn how to choose and organize their staff, give them more proper tasks instead of blindly training them until %100 at all skills and giving them a job in the customer service department for 7000 USD / month! I had enough money to do this, but this is very boring and not very realistic.

Hold shares! I noticed this in the last stages of the game so I am not sure when this feature becomes available and how it can help at earlier stages. I however, can say that it didn’t help me too much when my balance had 7 figures.

The Art of RPG Game Mastering

Many people and many different game systems will give many different opinions as to what makes a successful Game Master. In the world of pen and dice RPG’s Game Masters or GM’s at their core are story tellers, referees, and character actors all rolled into one. When one considers the how-to’s and why for’s of game mastering one must understand what a role play game truly is at its core. RPG’s at their essence are made up of a group of players who under the guidance of a Game Master go on a quest while portraying persons of a heroic nature in a land of fantasy.

The GM has the twofold purpose of presiding over the game system rules and maintaining the illusion of the game world in which the game takes place. The game master provides the essence of the game world and is the source of its physical realities, situations, and possibilities through the art of descriptive narration and character acting. There are a myriad of tools designed by a myriad of game companies, hobbyist groups, and individuals to aid the game master in his creation of the player universe. These tools run the gambit from reference books to complete scripted and mapped out adventure scenarios. However the experienced GM knows these are only tools to aid in presenting the individual game adventure and feel of the game world.

As a game master you utilize the rules or game system texts of whatever game world you’re playing as the source for the physical realities of that world. In these texts you will find the “nuts and bolts” that make the game playable. You will also find descriptive history or back stories to assist you in presenting the world setting of the game as intended by its creators. These books however should not be used as step by step guides such as those written for board games. Rather they serve the dual purpose of providing the mechanisms by which game elements such as combat, movement, and achievement are regulated and impart an all encompassing vision of the game world. Grasping the rules systems of die rolls, reference tables, and items usage is essential to being a GM as it is obviously necessary for game play. However of equal importance and possibly greater scope is being the story teller presenting the game world and all its features, physical laws, situations, and characters. The latter portion of being a GM is often more elusive as it requires one to use their imagination and narrative skills to take the players verbally into a fantasy world.

It is important to remember that there is no scenario that is set in concrete even if it is intricately scripted with many optional variations. Effective GM’ing that will be enjoyable for both the players and the GM involve using a little imagination and flexibility. As each player will perceive the game world according to his or her point of view the game play will never go exactly as the scenario outlines: this is where imagination comes in.

There is always room for drift in the story and as a GM you can add your own “spin” on the scenario tweaking its structure and intended event sequence to fit the flow of the game. By making the story your own you avoid possible and sometimes tedious step by step “A” to “B” feeling of a restrictively scripted scenario. By allowing the scenario to become a free flowing adventure the GM interacts with the players, using their ideas and perceptions to create an interactive story that everyone is part of.

Essentially, it’s OK if the player characters want to deviate from the scenario and run off to get drunk or go shopping for new weapons. These diversions can be added to the scenario or are even provided for by the presence of locations like towns and cities designed for such purposes. This affords the GM the opportunity to be more creative in their interpretation of the game script while allowing the players to experience their own “spin” on the game setting.

Returning the players to the scenario objective can be as simple as involving them in a bar brawl, or having them accused of cheating a merchant. Any number of Non player characters designed for the GM to use in the quest settings can be inserted or even invented by game masters to guide players back on track when needed. It often becomes necessary to manipulate player actions if they get too far out of story line. By the same token the game sometimes becomes more fun if they game master allows the story to precede in a direction of its own guided for a time by the players actions.

NPC’s or non player characters are any creature from simple monster to helpful ally played by the game master and often described or scripted in adventure stories that give depth and interaction to an adventure. NPC’s played by the game master are not intended solely as scripted automatons used to supplement combat or appear in one place doing one thing as they do in many video games. Rather they can be as in-depth and flexible as is needed within the limits of their abilities as described in scenario texts or rule books. Non player characters are one of the primary means by which the GM guides and steers the players and the game setting through their placement, intent, and quest knowledge. For example: A player decides to deviate from the scenario script to go get drunk.

The GM can use an NPC as a drinking buddy, the antagonist who starts a bar brawl, or the person who bails the player out of jail thereby leading them back to the scenario objective. NPC’s are essential to any role play game and invaluable tools for the GM’s use as they are the costars, bit players and filler that provide the interactive aspect of the game world. Since you as the game master act out the NPC’s you can use them to retard or enhance player progress through the adventure. They are a very good way of giving hints to lost players who become stuck or miss important clues to reaching quest goals. In the case of Monster NPC’s you are the direct adversary to the players as you make all the monsters attack die rolls and attempt to harm players.

Other than playing the part of hostile NPC’s game masters should not see their role as adversarial as an RPG is not a competition between players and the GM. Rather it is theatrically presented challenge to the players with both danger and reward presented in the context of a theme or loosely scripted story. While the game master is (usually) the only one to see maps and descriptions which may include the location of traps and hazards this still does not necessarily create an adversarial situation between GM’s and players. GM’s who play to “kill” player characters often lose players and do not run enjoyable games. In a sense the game master is analogous to god of the game world since they have all the fore knowledge of every bad situation and great reward the players are likely to face it would be far too easy to manipulate them into hazard. There is really no challenge or enjoyment in this style of game mastering and is not considered to be in the spirit of the RPG genre. That having been said there are many times where the game master will not reveal the presence of unseen or lurking danger as the flow of the story or player actions do not warrant warning.

Role Play Games are very much “real world” in terms of the players actions or lack thereof determining the outcome of any given situation. There are many instances where players may simply forget to use that magic danger sensing ability or simply not look before they leap. In these cases GM’s are never considered adversarial if they don’t tell players about things they could not have seen or known about. This may at times cause disputes and this is when your knowledge of game mechanics or rules processes comes into its own. If players run afoul of some hazard or lose a battle or fall into a trap they may often ask if there is a die they can roll or a chart they can look on to see if they can escape or win. In most cases the appearance of danger or challenging situations automatically invokes some die roll. สมัครสล็อต

However it is up to the GM to decide what rolls and when and who makes them for any given situation. All this knowledge is included in various game texts produced by the creators of the various adventures or systems they are designed to be used under. The sometimes tricky part comes about due to the “free form” nature of RPG’s that creates situations that are sometimes in the gray areas of the rules and do not directly invoke a specific die roll or rule driven decision. Game masters in this situation must decide which die rolls apply and sometimes either make up a die roll or a judgment call in the spirit of the rules system being used. By possessing a good working knowledge of the rules, the game world, and the general idea behind how the whole thing is supposed to work GM’s can make these judgment calls on the fly quite easily and fairly.

10 Casino Games to Play Online

To play casino games there is no need to get all dressed up these days. You don’t even have to leave the house, if you don’t feel like it. Casino games are available online and can be played from the comfort of your home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Most of the time a one-time casino software download is necessary, when you want to play casino games online. The software is usually directly available on the online casino website of your choice.

These days some casinos offer flash games which do not require a download. Personally I find the downloadable casinos more practical as you don’t have to open a browser each time you want to play. You simply play straight from your desktop.

These are 10 casino games you can play online:

1. Blackjack

Arguably one of the most well known card games in the world is Blackjack. The aim of the game is to obtain a hand combination closest to 21 as possible, without going over (busting).

The 2-10 cards are worth their numerical value. Face cards are valued at 10 and Aces can be worth 1 or 11. With time you will learn the odds of your hand busting versus de dealer’s hand.

It basically is a very easy game to learn how to play, and worth spending some time on as it is possible to develop some good skills which will massively increase your winning odds in this game.

Craps is a very exciting dice game. It’s the fastest moving game at the casino tables with a large variety of betting and wagering options. 3. Roulette

Mostly two types of roulette are offered to players online: American Roulettes and European Roulettes. As the American roulette wheel contains an extra 00 field, the European wheels have slightly better winning odds.

In this random number game players may choose to place bets either on a single number or a range of numbers, the colours black and red and the odd and even ranges. The croupier spins the roulette wheel, which contains coloured and numbered pockets, in one direction, while he releases and spins a little ball in the opposite direction on the circular track of the wheel. When the ball eventually loses its speed and falls into one of the (37 or 38) pockets of the wheel, the winning number (and therefore winning colour and number range) of the round is determined.

4. Mini Baccarat
